Since the beginning of the pandemic, our team has served hundreds to nearly thousands of islanders, all around the island of O'ahu, as well as folks from neighbor islands like Lanai and Hawai'i Island. Duties included:Supervising Triage Workflow as well as Actively Triaging.Assessed Client/Patient request forms, in which our team ultimately decided either to place a patient/client (or not) in hotel or other quarantine center, or to authorize a patient/client be given food/cleaning supplies/PPE (supplies donated by St. Francis), or to be tested for COVID by partner company Project Vision. Contact Tracing Experience: Determined how long someone would quarantine or isolate if placed into a hotel or other temporary quarantine facility. We partnered with hotels such as Pearl, Kuhio, and Aloha Suites.Using HIPAA sensitive information during phone calls with clients so forms were consistent with what patients verbalized. Assisted with maintaining order with any complaints that patients had with testing result lag times or any confusions they had about isolation quarantine periods. COVID19 Care CoordinationSummary:Coordinated isolation and quarantine transport for individuals who were positive for the virus, as well as negatives who came in reasonable contact with a COVID positive person.
