Systems & Application ArchitectApplication Architect for the Boeing Enterprise Supplier Tool, setting up the PII process for the application and revamping the application to meet with government standards. Create initial architecture for Enterprise Banking Project in the Boeing Enterprise Supplier Tool. Began tenure as a part of the NC Programming group, writing post processors for several CAD/CAM systems. Upon completion of that project, transferred to the IT manufacturing support group as a Unix Systems Administrator managing Sun Solaris servers and later on as an Oracle DBA. Eventually trained in Java, subsequently becoming a developer, leading to a promotion as Application Architect. In 2008 became Systems Architect, leading the architecture and integration of many systems integral to BEST, leading to current position as Application Architect & Developer. Brought in outside team to to outsource all testing to teams in India and Russia, producing increases in productivity while also producing significant cost savings for the company.Enhanced efficiency by instituting web services within the BEST application, both writing and installing them in the application. The reused web services have increased application efficiency.Tapped to supervise multiple servers, maintaining a 99% up time with scheduled blackouts for data migration.Delivered cost avoidance to Boeing through BEST application enhancements, while remaining 100% compliant with government standards.Successfully passed internal Red Team audit with 90% success and only one critical error uncovered, that error being part of a faulty Oracle design.Developed applications that tracked the supply chain’s long term corporate agreements for Boeing.Supervised the creation of an XML system to deliver supplier information and lead the architecture of several batch jobs.
