I have been helping people attempt to better themselves in way one or another for many years. It is rewarding and satisfying to see an idea form into a process that is implemented to help people achieve shared goals. My skills have helped people walk again, breath on their own, and work with a sense of satisfaction. I have helped people build stronger foundations, literally. Being analytical and intuitive, creative with the tools I have to work with, and conscious of the shared values of coworkers and mission of world renowned institutions I grew more confident that what I was doing to help people was important to me. Easily utilizing an EMR or business applications, does that help people? Yes. Empathetic, well honed interpersonal communication skills, does that help people? Yes. But what will help a prospective employer? Effort. No fancy words or generalizations. Holding open the door with a smile everyday and putting every darn skill into play to help people get better inch by inch, yard by yard. To breath easy, to walk tall, to smile and be productive. Goals people don't even know they may have achieved. Aspects of human nature that help sustain and grow a mission. That's more than a paycheck.
