Amazon Prime Air is a future service that will deliver packages up to five pounds in 30 minutes or less using small drones flying under 400 feet and weighing less than 55 pounds.Navigation System TeamWorked mostly in Python and C++ writing offline time series data analysis, simulation software and on-vehicle real-time software.

Elastic Load Balancing Scaling & Availibility July 2015 - October 2017* Designed, implemented (in Java), and deployed a method of detecting if a software load balancer is failing health checks because it was receiving too much traffic and was overloaded rather than just experiencing networking or hardware failure.* Added the ability to send health check data to a custom health check processor from our C++ pinger. Used protocol buffers to encode health check data into a byte stream.* Added support for the new application load balancer to our distributed active health checking system.* Added support for new AWS regions to multiple internal services.Load Balancing Frontend API Team October 2017 - August 2018* Implemented, tested, and safely released tag based authorization for the application load balancer and classic load balancer public APIs.* On-call support for the ELB public API in all regions.* Added support for multiple internal services in new AWS regions.L7 Load Balancing Data Plane August 2018 - January 2019

Worked as a shift lead (retail management) at the first ever physical Amazon location in customer service and back room roles.This was Amazon’s first ever in-person retail location, so I had the opportunity to work with corporate stakeholders to ensure the success of the launch.Completed Amazon’s customer service training program. Worked front of store customer service and back of store picking and stowing.

Worked on the Elastic Load Balancer team at Amazon Web Services. Created a website to visualize and assess the availability of a large fleet of software load balancers.

Interned on a security testing tool team with the specific task of writing a program with .NET to generate XML API Definitions.Wrote a C and C++ header file parser in .NET using ANTLR parser generator.Learned about DevExpress and Windows Forms application development.

Worked on a team of electrical engineers and software engineers on embedded software that ran on firefighting equipment. Wrote a .NET desktop app to configure these embedded devices.

Windows AD domain migration, IT helpdesk, setup multiple workstations and laptops for employees, DHCP server configuration, setup NTFS permissions for network shares.
