I have over 34 years of knowledge and work experience in health, safety & environmental, and 21 years as a Vacation Rental Owner, Manager and real estate investor. I have combined my two passions, safety & real estate, to build a company dedicated to serving Vacation Rental Managers & Owners. Many Owners and Managers are reacting to safety and loss prevention activities only after an incident or unfortunate situation, either occurred in their vacation rental property, or a nearby property. Like you, I prefer to address the proactive side of safety and loss prevention, however, we need to acknowledge fires, preventable injuries and illnesses for our guests, and other losses, are occurring every day in vacation rental properties. Families and friends are gathered for a break from work, to be together, celebrate birthdays or anniversaries and create lifelong memories. Some of these memories are not pleasant due to situations, where Owners or Property Managers either did not know about, or how to properly address safety risks or fire prevention. That’s why I created Safer Vacation Rentals, so I could provide the coaching, tools, techniques and processes in a community of like-minded vacation rental Owners & Managers to help us deliver safe properties for our guests and be financially successful.I also offer expert witness and testimony services for attorney, insurance companies, property management companies and owners. I have a unique skill set which is hard to find. Using safety & loss prevention and vacation / short term rental management, I will review the case and determine whether I can assist you in your case.
