Initial employment was to assume sales director for major banks in the Northwest Region that included Wells Fargo, Bank of the West, World Savings, Washington Mutual and Charles Schwab - exceeded quota by 40% in first year selling ATM's, Branch Automation, Item Processing and Data Warehousing Systems. Arranged a meeting with Visa's then CEO with NCR's Financial Services Director in London that provided the foundation for a global partnership which I lead establishing six sales teams in each of Visa's business regions. Project spanned Teradata Analytics, Smart Card, Check 21 image POS, ATM and Retail terminal security audits, etc.

Built a business plan, assembled management team, raised venture capital funding from DataCard corporation to deploy a cash management system that generated working capital improvements for clients immediately after installation. This enabled contingency pricing while creating a new market for check printers from the Troy Division of DataCard. Product refinements over time resulted in 3 - 8 days of cash flow improvements within 30 days of installation. Clients included Wal-Mart, Colgate Palmolive, Super Valu, Amoco Oil, Blue Cross and Quaker Oats.
