At Sevita, my tenure as an In-home Family Therapist leverages my experiences working along side veterans returning from homeless and incarceration. This work provided me a Trauma Focused Lens and a profound understanding of human resiliency that has aided in motivating children and families to take the next step forward. This insight coupled with the integration of competencies such as Motivational interviewing, CBT & DBT skills, diaphragmatic breathing, other mindfulness meditations, and elements of play and art therapies, have been instrumental in shaping a therapeutic approach that prepares and empowers individuals and families to achieve their goals. Working alongside a dedicated team, we've cultivated environments that prioritize dignity and personal growth for our clients. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, and a commitment to creating supportive spaces where families and children can navigate complex emotional landscapes with confidence and autonomy.
