With a B.S. in Human Sciences and a focus on Pre-Medicine from Oklahoma State University, I have a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and physics, as well as a passion for advancing the field of molecular medicine and improving patient outcomes. As a Laboratory Supervisor at North DFW Urology, I perform molecular testing on urological samples using PCR techniques and report the results to the physicians. I have over three years of experience in molecular diagnostics, having worked as a Laboratory Supervisor at Avero Diagnostics and a Molecular Scientist at Magnolia Diagnostics. In these roles, I handled a variety of assays, including GI, UTI, STI, respiratory and COVID-19, and ensured quality control and accuracy of the tests. I have excellent organizational, laboratory, and data entry skills, and I am always eager to learn new methods and technologies.
