Mr. Trabert has nearly 20 years of experience conducting research and analysis on public health and health care policy and operations. He has spent the past 17 years supporting emergency preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives for federal, state, and local government agencies. He has led evaluations of public health and health care responses to numerous real-world emergencies, including the COVID-19 pandemic, 2014-2015 Ebola virus disease (EVD) epidemic, 2010 Haiti earthquake, 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, 2004 ricin poisonings, and multiple foodborne outbreaks. He currently manages CNA's public health and health care preparedness program and supports business development activities. Prior to joining CNA, Eric served as a senior research analyst at Northrop Grumman, where he developed breast cancer and prostate cancer professional training and education programs for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Eric received his graduate training in epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
