Class of Spring 2018 from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Graduated with a BS in Hospitality Management, emphasis in Lodging Management, with a Minor in Business Administration. Currently located in the downtown Chicago area serving as Coordinator of Operations and Governance for the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.I am Taiwanese-American and was born in Taichung, Taiwan; raised in Taiwan, China, and the United States. The biracial, bi-cultural aspect of my life is very important to me. It makes up a very large portion of my identity and has greatly shaped my mindset and worldview. The 6 years my family spent living in Suzhou, China really opened me up to the rest of the world. I made life-long friends and mentors who are rooted in all places around the globe. It developed a love within me for different world cultures and traditions. I believe this has helped me in empathizing and connecting with people as a global citizen, which has proved to be a passion of mine in school and in the workplace.When it comes to work, I'm very much a people person. I pride myself in being outgoing, proficient in both communication and conflict resolution skills, and always wanting to learn more about my colleagues. I'm a firm believer that anyone can be a leader and that a good team dynamic is the most important part of getting things done.
