Eric currently is Principal of Eric Tsang and Associates providing advisory and management consulting services primarily to the ICT technology community and specializes in international business development and R&D partnership. Eric has over thirty-five years of private, not-for profit and public sector experience managing programs and projects, and international relations.Eric was the Canadian Head of Delegation to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Telecommunications and Information Technology Working Group which addresses communications policy and regulatory issues, and ICT development collaboration. Eric was the expert coordinator on international S&T for the ICT sector in Canada. Eric was the National Contact Point for the European Union’s Framework Program’s (FP-7) ICT and is presently the Canadian NCP for Research Infrastructure. He was actively establishing R&D projects in the ICT sector between Canada and EU, and also with China and India. Eric established the Business Development Office at CRC and was the Director of Business Development. His responsibility included developing new S&T initiatives, strategic planning, establishing strategic partnerships, and international collaboration for the ICT sector, promotion and development of communications technologies and applications.
