My position as Senior Systems Engineer for eX2 has provided me many more opportunities with technology and the design & implementation of them. The world of Smart City Applications, Intelligent Traffic Systems, FTTX, Network Operations, Managed Services and the Network Infrastructure it operates on (including SDN/SD-WAN solutions). Project Management, estimation & forecasting and mentoring new Engineers are among other roles I have been assigned and enjoyed.

As a Lead Systems Engineer, I provide cohesive project design and maintain excellent communication with customers and vendors and lead my team to implement Enterprise level Network Infrastructure & Data Centers for Security Systems, ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems), and Telecommunications projects. Evaluate design decisions to reflect customer needs, while increasing cost savings and efficiency in technology choices involving Network Infrastructure, Data Center Infrastructure, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Intelligent Video Systems, Video Systems, Intercom systems, Access Control, Traffic Systems, and Storage Systems. I diligently strive to achieve and maintain a high degree of technical knowledge in many fields of study within my career. This has led to multiple job awards and increased productivity.

I continually strive to improve design details for physical & logical security and small to large Network/Telecommunications projects, to include configuration and turn-up of product.Major decision maker for technology choices involving Network Infrastructure, Data Center Server choices, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Intelligent Video Systems, Video Systems, Intercom systems, Access Control, Traffic Systems, and Storage Systems. Develop Contractor Functional Test and System Acceptance Test Plans. My skills were needed on several projects whose timelines or budgets were in jeopardy. I collaborated with the existing team to identity issues and provide timely resolution.

• Designed, implemented, and managed Wide Area Network (WAN) with as many as 12 sites using mainly Cisco equipment (Approximately 10 other sites maintained at different times for sister companies). • Designed, implemented, and managed Wireless Local Area Networks (LAN) for mobile remote offices and warehouses. • Designed, implemented, and managed LANs and campus LANs using mainly Cisco switches (to include assisting engineering department in design for Request for Proposals (RFP)). • Designed, implemented, and managed private ISP services for sister companies to include Web, Domain Hosting (DNS), Internet Access, IP Usage (DHCP), Firewall Security, Circuit Management, and email.
