I have the honor of leading Enterprise Growth for our flagship device the Athelas Home. From a small volume of blood, the Athelas Home measures White Blood Cells and Neutrophil percentages remotely within a patient’s home or other near-patient settings. Our immediate focus is to continue to build out the new standard of care for Refractory Schizophrenia populations. Having served over 10,000 patients in these populations, the Athelas Home is used to overcome common barriers of entry for the highly efficacious medication Clozapine including medication side effects, frequent venous blood draws, administrative work in the REMS database + more. In 2023, we expect to work with all States, Non-Profit Organizations, Advocacy Groups, Families, and their Providers to help many more patients who will benefit from our technology.In addition, the Athelas Home technology platform also has the ability to measure Platelets, Hemoglobin, full White Blood Cell differential, Malaria, Blast Cells, and other key hematological parameters - all currently in clinical trials or FDA review. With the added FDA clearances on the horizon, our expansion into Oncology will increase. In cancer care, patients are highly immunosuppressed during treatment, with heavily depleted White Blood Cell and Neutrophil levels. Due to immunosuppressive chemotherapy or immunotherapy, a patient’s risk for Febrile Neutropenia, Infections, and Hospitalizations is incredibly high; directly impacting treatment + outcomes. With the Athelas Home, oncologists and other clinicians can remotely monitor a patient’s neutrophil levels to ensure safer oncology treatment.If this mission aligns with your goals and you are interested in improving the state of healthcare in America, please don't hesitate to reach out.
