I started my career as a carpenter apprentice framing condominiums in the 1980's, along side the many Canadian framers that took up business in Connecticut. I was offered an opportunity to take employment with a smaller company to build custom homes in Litchfield County. This was where I was fortunate to have the owner/my boss, see my eagerness to absorb as much knowledge in the home building industry as possible, and he invested quality time to help me grow.I decided this would be "my college". As time went by, my attention to detail and my skills increased, as did my desire to learn more of the hands on aspect.
