As a member of the Pipeline Strategy & Portfolio Management team within the Commercialization Office, my primary responsibility is to enable success of the product portfolio by delivering product and portfolio analytics and insights to Product Teams and Portfolio Governance to enable high-quality strategic decisions. Key responsibilities include:Portfolio Management:• Assess value of pipeline and marketed product business cases in the context of the late-stage portfolio, leveraging portfolio visualizations to provide transparency into tradeoff decisions and impact.• Conduct internal pipeline assessments, forecast portfolio productivity and throughput, and identify potential pipeline gaps to support the development of therapeutic area (TA) strategy.• Develop and analyze corporate and TA portfolio alternatives by leveraging relevant measures of cost, risk, and value to support a holistic and comprehensive portfolio review and prioritization process.• Own portfolio management framework and systems, including probability of success assessments, to ensure consistency and comparability of inputs.Program Valuation and Decision Analysis:• Assess the value, cost, and risk of alternative investment options for cardiovascular, neuroscience, and oncology programs to support effective stage gate decisions at the therapeutic area (TA) and portfolio governance level, in collaboration with Product Teams (PTs), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Analysis & Insights (BAI), and other support functions.• Highlight key trade-offs across strategic options and support recommendations for optimal strategy choice via decision analysis and probabilistic modeling methods.
