I first started this job as a part-time seasonal associate for the company until May 2016. I took a break and went back to Southern California for the Summer and then came back to the Bay at the end of July 2016 to start working full-time. Now I am an ambassador, whose function follow along the lines of: training new employees, being flexible with where I am placed whether that is pick, pack, or dock, and I also work in problem solve most of the time.Prior to moving to Texas my role at Amazon was promoted to Process Assistant which organizes the shift and is directly underneath the Area Manager. My duties were everyday place the associates on our particularly small roster into the best positions on the floor that had best benefit the team and all our success in the shift.

Key task that I had to do was answer phone calls for client appointments and status updates. For the most part I work the front office. But since I was the assistant to the main physical therapist and other physical therapist and occupational therapist, I helped set up massage tables for clients, communicated with clients to make them feel comfortable, and mostly get an education from the people who are in the career field I am currently studying to become. Lastly, I aided the main physical therapist with everything because she was, at the time, 7 months pregnant. I learned a lot working under Joscelyn and the rest of the team, such as customer service skills from working the front desk and skills that lead up to me being successful in my education.
