As part of the Research and Development (R&D), reporting to the Director of Clinical IT Business Unit, my responsibilities include:- Management of international software architecture and infrastructure development teams (devSecOps) for BECKMAN COULTER.- Definition of technical roadmap.- Member of patent review and competitive intelligence committee for BECKMAN COULTER software.- Leadership or co-leadership in internal and external innovation projects. Results:- Led the SCRUM masters team and adoption of agile methods to consistently deliver software updates for DxOne Workflow Manager every quarter.- Design and deployment (DevSecOps) of DxOne Workflow Manager from the DxOne suite in Amazon web service (AWS). Installed at over 80 medical laboratory clients in the US.- Led the performance improvement of DxOne Workflow Manager, with a tenfold increase in performance.- Oversaw the development of an automated deployment and update management console for DxOne workflow manager to ensure quality and speed of deployment and configuration. Reduced laboratory analysis results production downtime from 1 day to less than an hour.- Led a Kaizen project and implementation of actions to ensure data security and confidentiality in accordance with Danaher's requirements, implementing over 120 security points at the application, infrastructure, process, and team levels for cloud-deployed software.- Defined and led a research project in partnership with INRIA to optimize clinical laboratories. Co-inventor of 11 patents filed by BECKMAN COULTER, including 8 with INRIA for laboratory optimization.
