Born near Paris in 1963.Studies of Russian language and culture at INALCO – Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris.Freelance photographer since 1986.First based in Paris.He works on assignment for several French and German magazines and newspapers : Stern, Der Spiegel, Die TAZ, Libération, Le Monde, Marianne, La Vie…  also he does corporate assignments : Herrenknecht, Kärcher, Méphisto, Yonex …1996, he left Paris ; now based between Strasbourg and Stuttgart.Currently a member of German photo agencies Agentur-Focus and Zeitenspiegel.For 26 years he has been running in four languages photo workshops to teenagers of ghettos, to young prisoners, to young migrants (Germany) to young people in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, to visually impaired and blind children, to children with Down Syndrome, to autistic children… www.arguments.photoMore than 20 solo exhibitions in Europe, Russia and Kazakhstan.2006 nominated for the Prix Niepce (most famous french award).2008 winner of Grand Prix of Fotofestiwal in Lodz (2008, Poland).In addition to his native French, Eric is fluent in English, German and Russian.He knows Ukraine very well. He first visited the Donbass in 1994. He was in Mariupol in September 2022 for the German magazine Stern. Eric will return to the conflict zone from 3 November to 1 December 2022.
