The Creative Director is responsible for overseeing the Graphics team for the Orlando Science Center. This position works closely with the VP of Marketing and the Marketing Manager on developing and designing the external and internal brand image of the Orlando Science Center.

Orlando, Florida Area

• Works with VP of Marketing and Marketing Manager to ascertain priorities and needs and to develop graphic directions, concepts, and specifications for assigned projects.
• Develop, maintain and uphold the brand standards of the organization across all materials, both internal and external.
• Works with outside advertising consultants and vendors to assure image continuity throughout campaigns on an add needed basis.
• Manage the graphics request process to ensure that design projects are delivered on time to all external and internal partners.
• Manage the graphics team to ensure that they are working efficiently and oversee them as their supervisor.
• Plans production schedules for the various steps in the design process and develops project budgets and workflow.

Orlando, Florida Area

• Works with VP of Communications, Creative Manager and Marketing Manager to ascertain priorities and needs, and to develop graphic directions, concepts, and specifications for assigned projects.
• Assures the graphic image and consistent look is maintained throughout all collateral material and advertising campaigns. Helps enforce, develop and improve the graphic image for the Orlando Science Center.
• Conceptualizes, plans, designs, and produces a wide range of specialized graphic and/or illustrative material, to include multimedia concepts, as appropriate.
• Plans production schedules for the various steps in the design process workflow.
• Oversees and coordinates the production process; and selects appropriate production media and materials, such as ink and paper; inspects proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards.
• Provides technical advice and guidance, and serves as liaison with and printing representatives on design and technical graphics issues.
