I am currently finalising a Massage Intervention and Stress Management Program which offers 15 minute relaxation and remedial massages for each staff member. From 40 nurses in a regional hospital, to whole wards or departments within different hospitals over multiple locations.The Program is first offered for free to health care organisations as a 3 to 6-week Pilot program. After the three weeks, we evaluate the participants responses and link our findings to external research. This shows decision-makers how they can:• instantly cut staff turnover, compensation expenses, sick leave rates and medical errors (through reducing stress, anxiety, fatigue, trauma, burnout); • decrease internal conflicts and disruption to the working environment (due to lowered stress);• stabilise retention and attract high-performing staff; and• entwine massage within the brand marketing for you facility and increase revenue through re-admissions and new clients, Knowing that medical errors are fewer due to our Program, clients feel safer and confident they'll have a speedier recovery.But the greatest benefit isn't quantifiable, but felt.
