As Bitsy's General Counsel and CCO, I helped stand up our compliance and legal programs to make Bitsy (and later the tZero Crypto App) become a first-in-class cryptocurrency wallet and exchange service. In the day-to-day, I oversaw and managed regulatory compliance within Bitsy; drafted, implemented, and trained employees on BSA, AML, KYC, CDD, employment, and other internal policies and procedures; negotiated, analyzed, and executed third-party contracts; oversaw outside counsel on all corporate transactions and disputes; and managed licensing applications and maintenance in all US jurisdictions.

My areas of practice included general commercial litigation (including construction, corporate finance, real property, and employment disputes), family law and estate issues, administrative practice, and appeals.

Researched issues before the court, made substantive recommendations, and assisted in drafting and editing opinions.
