Born and raised in an agriculturally-based family business with roots set in 1850, my earliest memories are working in the fields with my dad and grandfather. Those experiences helped develop my work ethic, character, and values. Growing up in the business, I was fortunate to have many different roles and responsibilities. From field laborer, to field crew leader, to retail worker, to baker, I worked with hundreds of different people of all backgrounds and ages throughout my childhood. This experience led me to apply to Penn State University and to pursue a degree in marketing, as I felt it would be a good fit for me, and ultimately, benefit my family's business after graduation.When I returned to the business, I took the role of bakery and deli manager. Additional responsibilities were soon added, including marketing, human resources, and event planning & management. Currently I assist in general management, finances, administration, and inventory management, in our ever-changing family-owned and operated business.
