With 8+ years of machine design, project commissioning, and field service experience, I’m on the hunt for new and exciting contract roles or client partnerships. For the past few years (and currently), I've enjoyed running my own automation and controls business—Apex Automation (www.apexautomation.carrd.co), check it out.As a resourceful and independent doer, I’m in my element when designing creative solutions for complex automation equipment and processes. Here are a few LinkedIn-relevant facts about me:1. I’m always down for a brainstorming session to get the collective creativity flowing. With that said…if I go missing, you can probably find me in the corner of the R&D area (cubicles aren’t my thing) or tucked behind a control cabinet rocking a set of noise canceling headphones and hammering out code.2. While I’m based out of Denver, I’m a traveler at heart and tend to be the “go-to commissioning and service guy.” Just ask me about the time I got to live in Teton National Park for two weeks, in my campervan, to completely rewire then program a (botched) pump and tank site for the NPS.3. Simply put–I’m not allergic to hand tools. I grew up working on a 500-acre farm, worked as an electrician for 4 years, and just finished a custom renovation on a 32ft Airstream. So I have a blended background in electrical, mechanical, and construction experience. I’ve been told my eclectic background makes me a strong, well-rounded, problem-solving engineer all around. I’ll take it. My industry experience: Renewable Energy, Food & Beverage, Ceramics, Water Utilities, Manufacturing, and Chemical...but always down to try something new!Always interested in connecting with like-minded folks and exploring new opportunities.
