The two main projects are the Climate Smart Land Network (CSLN) and the Resilient Taunton Watershed Network (RTWN)CSLN: Forests play a key role in climate regulation. They absorb approximately ¼ of global CO2 emissions on an annual basis and the potential exists for that share to increase. Climate change presents both risks and opportunities to forest managers. Through the Climate Smart Land Network Manomet is partnering with the timber industry to prepare North American forests for climate change. RTWN: Manomet is partnering with The Nature Conservancy, MassAudubon, the Southeast Region Planning and Economic Development District, and others to plan and implement a natural systems-based approach to coastal resiliency.
