Before joining Alibaba Group Eric Wang cofounded and led the business of marketing, data and creation in Outlook Institute which was a national high-end think tank established by Xinhua News Agency. At that meantime Eric Wang was also the marketing director of Economy & Nation Weekly. Eric Wang worked for Ericsson labs (China) in 2010 before he got his master degree in economics from Renmin University of China.
