This was the parent company of KHGI....And .... kinda sorta KTVG as well......Pappas bought the station in 1996.....I was already there 2 yrs or so, when they bought us from Fant Broadcasting...

Master Control & Transmitter operator for Fox.Chief Operator from 2000 to 2001 when I resigned...Originally located in back of the Grand Island news bureau of NTV...At some point, KTVG MC was re-located to the NTV Studios in Kearney....(technically Axtell)....

Shift Supervisor.Master Control-Operate switcher for ABC and FOX stations.Monitor/control 4 TV transmitters and 1 translator. Set up and record shows via satellite. Set up camera’s and tape machines for local newscast. Set up microwave receiver for newscast live shots. Record feeds via satellite.Engineering-Trouble shoot, make repairs, and provide preventative maintenanceto studio, news, master control/tape room equipment.Provide tech support to viewers calling in with questions about the station. Trouble shoot and repair to the best of my ability equipment at the microwave and transmitter sites.
