- Act as a liaison between 50+ independent manufacturers, McLane, Dot Foods, & Walgreens teams through brokerage representation - Rightsize inventory for 400+ items in up to 8400+ Walgreens stores- Optimize store-level forecasts based on history, promotions, and other inputs that can affect forecasts- Identify drivers of out-of-stocks and waste when items surpass established thresholds- Proficient in numerous systems (RSi, Infor, Antuit, Walgreens' SupplierNet portal) and data sets (Dot Foods service levels, McLane DC inventory and PO data, Manufacturer cuts/fill rates) - Utilize and compile inventory data including out-of-stocks and supplier fill rates by item out of multiple data sets and systems - Expanded service offerings for our manufacturing partners to include distributor level inventory management (McLane)

- Analyze inventory levels for the total laundry category; top load, front load, and specialty laundry, as well as laundry parts- Analyze inventory levels for the total cooking category; electric ranges, gas ranges, microwaves, range hoods, and cooktops, - Analyze inventory levels for the total dishwasher category; dishwashers, garbage disposals, compactors, and parts- Partner closely with my Demand Planner, Merchant team, and the vendors to plan promotions, ensure we have the inventory available or ordered to support those promotions based on various lead times for domestically sourced items, indirectly imported items, as well as directly imported items , and execute item transitions

- Analyze inventory levels for the total laundry category; top load, front load, and specialty laundry, as well as laundry parts- Continue strong relationships with major appliance vendors which helps understand any potential inventory constraints/concerns from the vendors- Subject Matter Expert for future state IDRP (JDA/Manugistics)

- Train a Senior Inventory Analyst in Excel which improves overall efficiency in everyday tasks- Subject Matter Expert for opening new stores systemically in relation to inventory management

- Formulate an Excel-based store assortment file to analyze which items were floored in each store- Procured ample inventory levels to support buyer's sales forecast while minimizing unproductive inventory

- Prioritize time spent on every task to ensure both product lines are properly scrutinized- Maintain positive vendor relationships

- Learn transition management and the life of an item- Become strong in various systems including: - ALEX (MicroStrategy) to analyze sales data - IDRP (JDA/Manugistics) to upload sales forecasts and manage item life cycle - IMA (item management application) to create new items and turn off old items

- Develop strong knowledge of the appliance industry- Forecast weekly sales based on knowledge of prices for each stocked item -Create relationships with major appliance vendors, which aids in producing accurate item level consensus forecasts- Improve knowledge of Excel to aid in creation and improvement of Excel-based tools
