Launched CLIA tests include whole exome and genome sequencing and a genetic test for patient stratification for a Phase 2 FDA trial for dry age-related macular disease for a client biotech company which business I brought to Q-State Biosciences. Performed R&D for clinical tests for mRNA rare disease diagnostic sequencing and a cell-based assay for multiple myeloma drug sensitivity. Additionally, I was co-PI on an SBIR funded grant for development of antisense oligonucleotides for gene therapy for nervous system diseases, the main scientific focus of Q-State Biosciences.
