Grounded in an early career delivering community based conservation and social enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa, the last ~5 years I've worked to unlock finance for NBS projects across the global south via carbon markets. I’m now focused on creating the enabling environment via market and non-market mechanisms to scale finance/funding to reverse climate change and driving forward emerging private and public sector nature positive mechanisms to enable communities and governments to protect and restore nature. I work at the intersection of policy entrepreneurship, technology, private sector leadership and innovative finance to (1) ensure climate solutions play a high-integrity role in corporate and public climate mitigation action and (2) design and implement new mechanisms to catalyze finance into public and private sector nature positive initiatives that lead to biodiversity, water and other ecosystem service outcomes. My north star is to protect and restore nature, stabilize the climate and ensure equitable and sufficient access to resources for all people.
