I am a Product Designer with 7 years of experience, 5 years in the sportswear industry and 2 years as a freelance graphic designer. My skill set is discovering user pain points and designing unique solutions for them, whether it be changing material to adjust the stiffness in a motorcycle shoe, or introducing new colorways that the market responds positively to. I approach my products with the curiosity of an outsider and the knowledge of a lifelong enthusiast. My critical thinking skills give the projects I work on a signature uniqueness and usability.In my current role, I take product briefs from concept to retail floor. I collect customer reviews from internal and external sources. The questions I ask athletes lead me to unique design solutions. I also perform market research, trend forecasting, moodboards, ideation, branding, and colorway concepting. I build detailed techpacks to communicate all product features and how they should be made. I inspect the factory samples, perform user testing, and communicate improvements to the factories. My experiences and responsibilities as a designer allow me to visualize products from the angle of the consumer, the athlete, the factory, and the stakeholder.
