The Thorold Mill was an integrated newsprint mill producing 1200 tonnes per day of recycled newsprint. The Paper Mill maintenance department was a multidisciplined department with a superintendent, five supervisors, two engineers, three technoligists and 71 unionized tradesmen. The trades included, milwrights, pipefitters, welders, cable crew, oilers, vibration techs, electricians, instrument techs, control systems repairmen and shift maintenance.

Corbloc, St. Catherines, Ontario

As a member of the Corporate Office for QUNO, assisted in the sale of the company to Donohue Paper. Prior to the sale, the senior managment team completed an extensive review of the Shareholder Value which involved a Newsprint Market Analysis by Booz Allen of Chicago, a McKinsey Competitive Study and several investigative trademissions to Korea and China.

Thorold, Ontario

For Ontario Paper, in the Thorold Mill as a Senior Electrical Engineer managed several major capital projects including pulp mill expansions, energy shifting and load managment, and paper machine speed-ups.
