TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER• Provide technical support to users of Süd-Chemie catalysts as they are used in Chemical, Petrochemical and Refinery applications. • Assist sales personnel with on-site post-sale activities such as catalyst loading supervision, catalyst pre-treatments, plant-start up, trouble-shooting, catalyst unloading. . • Travel jointly with Technical Sales Engineers as required to address specific technical issues or problems. • Work with Engineering Design companies to provide reactor designs and catalyst recommendations for revamp or grass-roots projects.• Provide support to Product Teams (R&D, Production & Sales) to facilitate continuous improvement in various product lines • Evaluate plant data, and make technical recommendations for catalyst and/or plant improvement.

REFINING CATALYSTS AND ZEOLITES GROUP• R&D for various refining applications including isomerization, and aromatics hydrogenation.• Operation and maintenance of catalyst performance test units. • Data collection, interpretation, and reporting.• Coordinate with manufacturing on scale-up for newly developed catalysts or processes.
