I have a passion for developing leaders not only in education, but in all sectors of society. I became a John Maxwell Certified Speaker/Coach with emphasis on Leadership, Mentoring, Communicating, Connecting and Developing Leaders to make a difference in the lives of others. My passion with regard to the John Maxwell program is to make a difference in the lives of others and help them achieve their true potential personally, professional and spiritually. Earned my doctorate at Oakland City University in Educational Leadership. Completed my dissertation on the Effects of Resilience on Teachers who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). ACEs have detrimental effects on those who have experienced them and through my research, have identified the factors that help develop resilience in people. The most contributing factor in developing resilience is having a positive relationships with another person. While simple in theory, these relationships have proven to be the deciding factor in overcoming the ACEs. Having seen this first hand, it is my mission to shed light on these ACEs and assist others in overcoming their ACEs by having a positive impact in their lives. Have presented on this topic at ESSA in Chicago, numerous schools and organizations.
