I started as a Junior-Level Quality Assurance Engineer. My main responsibilities are Automated UI testing utilizing Java and Selenium, manually testing software, creating environments to test in, writing/recording defects, writing documentation on various procedures, etc.

Created tests which interfaced between the company’s database and Java servlets using a combination of Java, Groovy, Spock, and SQL in an FDA-regulated environment. Conducted automated API and UI tests regularly using the IntelliJ IDE. Occasionally did manual testing as well.

My main responsibilities are manual testing, writing/recording defects, creating documentation, creation and execution of service-level and UI automation, etc. I have also taught myself load testing and was able to assist my team in that endeavor.

I do black-box testing of internal medical software starting at a Junior QA level. I test web-based applications including on the database side.
