I am currently a third-year student in Temasek Polytechnic pursuing the Diploma in Accounting & Finance. The zeal for numbers has what got me interested in this course. Aside from my studies, I am a member of Temasek Polytechnic Ultimate (Frisbee). I enjoy playing frisbee, soccer and cycling.Although I have yet to experience the accounting and finance industry, the social etiquette skills that I have acquired in my temporary retail job in ZARA is essential in the future when interacting with other people such as clients. Additionally, I have learned how to do a stock take and it is essential as with this knowledge I can assist in my future work whenever possible. These skills have enhanced my interpersonal skills.As a current student in Diploma in Accounting & Finance, I am exposed to various aspects of Accounting such as Financial Accounting, Company Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting etc. Along with relevant IT skills like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Sage 300 ER, I am able to apply these knowledge and skills into good use when working. I am proficient in both English and Chinese.Seeing myself as proactive, encouraging and determined, I am a team player that plays an active role in any group discussions and will persevere and encourage others at times of rough circumstances. I am also organised in my work and will prioritise according to its importance. Although I may lack in some skills, but with a "never say die", I am willing to sacrifice my time to learn it thoroughly.I am looking for a finance internship to further improve my knowledge and gain experience in the financial field.
