Turbocharger design and release engineer for the 2.7L & 3.0L Ecoboost V6 engines. Component leader responsibilities:-Ensure a successful completion of turbocharger design validation and process validation testing prior to product release.-Interface with suppliers and assembly plants to ensure a flawless product launch according to Global Phased Production Part Approval Process and ensure control plans align with component DFMEA/PFMEA.-Offer ongoing support of prototype vehicle and engine dyno testing.-Interface with other component leaders and systems team to solve any possible issues as they arise.-Review, analyze, and disposition warranty returned turbochargers.

• Designed a supplementary exhaust manifold heat shield for the 2011 Ford Explorer • Assisted the Engine Design Team in the revision of engine parts in Catia• Gained knowledge and awareness of the research and development at Ford Motor Company• Obtained training in powertrain software including Piston-to-Valve Clearance application and other Catia V5 applications• Presented completed projects to the management team at the end of the internship
