~ Responsible for the leadership, management and operations of all aspects of Santa Cruz County district of Hope Services. Oversaw annual operating budget of $3.8 million and daily operations of services to 12 programs, five sites, 80 staff members and 265 people with developmental disabilities.~ Directed efforts in government relations, i.e. legislative issues, state funding proposals, advocacy efforts on behalf of clientele; met with many state legislators and their staff on issues regarding service delivery and developmental disability; updated staff and board of directors on relevant legislative issues.

~ Responsible for the leadership, management and operations of all aspects of Skills Center, Inc (Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties). Oversaw annual operating budget of $6.2 million and daily operations of services to 12 programs, eight sites, 110 staff members and 460 people with developmental disabilities.~ Directly supervised a team of ten senior managers (programmatic and administrative) and sales people.~ Executive in charge of monthly Board of Directors meetings, including briefings to board, agenda development, facilitation and minutes.~ Oversaw all aspects of financial management, e.g., annual budgeting process, state funding increases, monthly financial statement review and operational adjustments.

For the Masters in Management and Disability Services program at the McClaren School of Business, University of San Francisco:~ Advised and supported between 10 and 20 Masters students per semester in site-based and distance learning program. Students were all working professionals in disability field from all over the U.S. and abroad. Met with students during weeklong sessions at USF as well as monthly phone and email support when not on campus. ~ Guest lecturer in the course Management and Organizational Behavior.
