Erica Cochrane Email and Phone Number
With over two decades leading, directing, coordinating, and advising conservation programs, I have developed core competencies in conservation management, planning, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and adaptive management across diverse ecological, cultural, economic, and geopolitical contexts. Over the past ten years, I provided training, facilitation, and technical support to the International Crane Foundation's teams in Asia, Africa, and North America to design, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of their biodiversity conservation programs. I improved program focus, logic, and ability to demonstrate impact, leading to a doubling of program investment. Before working with the Foundation, I led wildlife research and integrated conservation and development programs for the World Wildlife Fund and Wildlife Conservation Society in Central and East Africa. I also coordinated federal, state, and community coral reef conservation actions in the Marianas Islands.I am passionate about evidence-based conservation and identifying and accelerating effective action to achieve transformational global change. I am proud to be a Certified Conservation Coach and an active member of the Conservation Standards community, including serving as Chair on the Board of Directors for the Conservation Measures Partnership.
