Shortly after joining the Commercial and Professional team as a lecturer in business, I secured the role of Programme Leader for Higher Education.This includes curriculum management for the HNC/HND Business and FdA Business programmes within faculty.Responsibilities include the management of the programme and team as well as the development and updating of the curriculum.I am the lead for the standardisation of the HE provision in the faculty, including processes and procedures.I predominantly deliver level 3 to level 6, including BTEC level 3 business, HND, FdA, and BA in Business, but also support the L3 IT with Enterprise and Project Management. I was previously responsible for delivery of the Diploma in Management in organisational workplaces, prior to the change in specification.I have developed and delivered a range of staff development sessions across college and in faculty, ranging from peer assessment to supporting students with exam skills.As an advocate for widening participation, I am an active participant in our HE community at the college.

In addition to my teaching role, I am also a member of the Faculty Management Group, leading on the Higher Education provision.This includes strategic oversight of all of our adult focused curriculum in faculty, supporting design and development of new courses in both Business and IT with our partners Exeter University, Plymouth University, and AIM qualifications.I am also a member of the HE Academic Board, which acts as a review and advisory group for the wider college's HE activities, reporting to Senior Management and the Board of Governors.

Previously responsible for managing the team that provides support for all Higher Education students based at Petroc, Barnstaple Campus. Responsibities also included ensuring the Quality processes were adhered to as well as ensuring compliance to the regulations of our partner, Plymouth University.As well as managing this busy area, I also taught part time, delivering Business Studies at level 3 and 4, specialising particularly in Business Finance.
