• Perform DNA & RNA extraction for human blood, saliva, and tissue samples manually and with an Autopure, Flexstar and Promega Maxwell RSC• Keep up with sample inventory and data entry in Microsoft Excel• Ensure proper organization and cleaning methods of lab benches, fume hoods and other equipment, as well as toxic waste control• Quality control of samples using QIA Expert and Spectra• MAPI processing and storage of blood and plasma• Manage the creation of plates for new and ongoing studies

• Responsible for giving and taking report, documenting vital signs, I&Os, and hygiene in CIS software • Set up portable and traditional ECG heart monitoring systems, and perform bladder scans • Keen attention to patient conditions and room precautions (head elevation for G-tubes, EEG setup, prosthetic devices, craniectomy helmets, seizure pads)• Maintain a safe welcoming environment during admissions, and throughout stays by proper disposal of sharps, room orderliness, and communication about procedures performed

• Fax, file, and disposal of confidential patient information compliant with HIPPA laws• Create an inviting office atmosphere and maintain outstanding patient relations during check in-s • Complete daily referrals, insurance verifications, collection and recording of payments • Weigh patients, perform urinalysis, vision screenings, and ensure COVID-19 compliance and cleanliness• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and pharmaceutical representative meetings over the phone and through ASPMD software
