As an innovator and leader in the outdoor education field, I am passionate about improving the health of both people and planet through community-based learning, nature immersion, and childhood development. EverWild Forest School has quickly become one of the nation's largest forest schools serving children between the ages of 18-months and 14-years.

● Serve as the laboratory’s Subject Matter Expert for three major environmental compliance programs: Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC); Underground Storage Tanks (USTs), and; Wastewater Discharge.● Provide compliance support to over 7,000 laboratory employees and researchers through regulatory interpretation and implementation of various federal, state, and local regulations including the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, U.S Endangered Species Act, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act (APSA).● Manage the compliance implications of over 400 aboveground storage tanks, 15 underground storage tanks, and 5 categorical treatment processes.● Perform frequent field inspections and compliance audits to identify and resolve gaps within the laboratory’s environmental compliance programs.● Prepare and submit key regulatory documents including the laboratory’s Wastewater Discharge Permit (annual) and SPCC Plan (every 6 months). ● Work closely with regulatory agencies at the federal, state, and local level to smoothly implement the laboratory’s environmental programs. ● Conduct semi-annual natural resources inventories of rare and endangered plants and animals at the laboratory’s two sites via cross-country trail transects. ● Participate in site-wide emergency response drills as the Environmental Duty Officer.● Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure the complete and successful implementation of environmental programs.
