Team Lead under the Diversity Institute Consulting arm, managing a team of 6 staff focused on developing proposals and grant applications, and leading a range of corporate, public and non-profit consulting projects related to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism.

The Diversity Institute conducts and coordinates multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder research to address the needs of diverse Canadians, the changing nature of skills and competencies, and the policies, processes and tools that advance economic inclusion and success. Our action-oriented, evidence-based approach is advancing knowledge of the complex barriers faced by underrepresented groups, leading practices to effect change, and producing concrete results.Consults with private, non-profit and government organization on organizational Equity, Diversity and Inclusion policies and change management projects.

Mentorship Coordinator and Program Support for the Ryerson Diversity Institute's Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub and the Women's Entrepreneurship Hub. In partnership with Scadding Court Community Centre, we provide free business education, mentorship and wrap-around support services for newcomers and low-income self-identified women, to help them launch and grow their businesses.Program lead for the Pursue Entrepreneurship program for Black youth, in partnership with the Lifelong Leadership Institute

Wrote articles, reports, grant applications and award applications, including a successful nomination for the Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub as a best settlement practice; created data collection tools (surveys, etc.) and research ethics applications, interviewed participants, collect and analyze data for various research projects (e.g. Workforce Integration and Inclusion Project, Ontario Inclusive Innovation Strategy, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Hub).Onboarded new members of the research team; trained and offered mentorship to work-study students

Providing research support on Canadian private and corporate law, including conducting interviews, drafting reports Assist in organizing the annual conference for the Canadian Academy of Legal Studies in Business

Data Collection & Decision Support Solutions Branch- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding- Organize weekly staff events, including assisting in semi-annual party for entire DDSB Branch- Respond to staff requests regarding equipment, meetings, security access, and technical issues, etc.

- Independently onboarded and supported over 100 active volunteers and 400 applicants- Screened volunteer resumes, conducted 2-3 interviews per week, and launched recruitment postings- - Facilitated monthly volunteer orientations on Health and Safety policy, WHMIS, AODA and proper care of patients- Collaborated with Program Coordinators at the other UHN hospitals to manage a cohesive system
