I am involved in Information Technology because I am very interested in research, development, and innovation. I find myself being curious about how technology is evolving especially considering it's a majorly involved in our everyday lives.I feel that having a passion to pursue while having the ability to assist others is a major achievement. I think of myself in the field assisting people who cant't assist themselves because they are unaware of the technological changes happening around them. Reflecting back I can remember assisting my elderly family members in updating their smart phones, creating an email, helping them navigate through Microsoft Office, connecting to wifi, installing an application, even something we would think as easy like saving a simple contact. Learning about internet connections, hardware software and applications I feel have broadened my knowledge and skills when it comes to conducting the research and getting the desired results. Becoming knowledgeable in networking as far as hardware and the types of are networking brought my studies to an unimaginable state. This are area of study was not my focus, but having the opportunity, I'll be forever grateful. I found pleasure in networking and it really boosted my confidence in this field. My course work has prepared me to take those expertise beyond what I can imagine and I look forward to putting them to use.
