I’m a doer with nearly a decade of experience in public/government relations—a field I passionately embraced after making a purposeful career shift. My love for public relations, communications, and journalism actually began back in middle school. Yet, somehow, in my early 20s, I veered off that path and spent more than 10 years building a lucrative career in the mortgage finance industry. Eventually, though, my true passion won out when the right opportunity came along, reigniting that deeply rooted drive and ambition I had almost forgotten.This journey has allowed me to build a broad and versatile skill set that spans public relations, communications, sales, marketing, management, leadership, board membership, and political action committee management. I’m skilled in providing executive support and delivering exceptional service to clients. Colleagues, peers, and leaders have often recognized me for my strong interpersonal communication skills and my ability to connect effectively with people at all levels. I’m known as a dedicated team player with a knack for solving complex problems, maintaining impeccable attention to detail, delivering expert-level proofreading, and always bringing a positive, proactive attitude to the table.I lobbied for both federal and state legislation that was eventually signed into law. Managing and growing a PAC and advocating for purposeful issues and initiatives drive my motivation while cultivating positive relationships and engagement with elected officials and key publics.
