An experienced designer and communicator, I am first and foremost user-focused. Whether I'm designing graphics or writing copy, my aim is always the same: to communicate in a way that is understandable, accessible, helpful, and engaging. I believe the best way to establish productive and meaningful relationships with others is by first seeking to understand their perspective. There is always something to learn from the people around me, and I find great satisfaction in connecting with and helping others. After earning a B.S. in Graphic Communications and a minor in Applied Business, I began my career as an entry-level graphic designer at a marketing agency, soon becoming their lead designer. Later, I joined an in-house marketing team at a consumer electronics retailer. There, I worked on both the print and web design teams and taught myself to code. As a freelance designer, I have designed everything from logos to magazines to websites. And, while working in a "unicorn" role as both a designer and a copywriter for a marketing and PR agency, I created visual graphics, designed publications, proofread and edited copy, and wrote thought leadership articles, blog posts, newsletters, and press releases for a wide variety of industries and clients. In my current position as an Agile and Graphic Design Senior Consultant on the People Team at S&P Global, I work with multiple teams and individuals to organize, design, and deploy visual communications and content to engage and inform our global workforce.
