Interested in quality improvement and finding the best ways to implement and provide patient care.I recently graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with my BSN, and I graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors with a GPA of 3.88. During school I was highly involved, serving on the Executive Boards for both Phi Sigma Pi, a national honor's fraternity, and the Women's Rugby Team. I was also a founder of the York Rugby Executive Board and was elected as the Secretary. For 10 weeks in the Summer of 2014, I externed at RWJ Hospital in Hamilton on a Med/Surg floor with telemetry capabilities. I also had experiences in their L&D unit, Emergency Department, and ICU. This semester I completed my Acute Care rotation at York Hospital in PA in their multiple ICU units including Trauma/Surgical ICU, Open Heart ICU, and Medical/Surgical ICU. Also, for my practicum rotation I worked with a preceptor at Hershey Medical Center's Level 1 Trauma Center in their Emergency Department, and I assumed care of adult and Pediatric patients. I hope to find a Registered Nurse position in an Emergency Department or on a Pediatric Unit.
