In this position I am responsible for gathering, entering and verifying data; submitting forms and completing agency notifications; compiling compliance schedule updates; providing proper documentation for new internal audits; responding to phone calls and inquiries from field personnel and governmental agencies; preparing safety and environmental reports; maintaining emergency response plans; managing the SharePoint data management system; and managing the online training through our learning management system.• Create new and update current safety management system programs and forms.• Manage the emergency action plan for the corporate headquarters.• Gather data from field offices; enter data and verify accuracy in databases. • Submit state and federal agency forms and correspond with agency representatives in order to complete necessary notifications required to comply with regulations. • Submit Tier II documentation to EPA• Administrate the drug and alcohol program through third party vendor.• Compile compliance schedule updates from personnel and update schedules according to the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System (SMS) standards.• Compile action item assignments, meeting minutes and prior inspection and audit results in order to provide proper documentation for new internal audits. • Respond to phone calls and inquiries regarding programs and standards, general safety, health and environment knowledge, and compliance questions from operations areas and regulatory agencies. • Prepare safety and environmental reports for federal and state agencies. • Oversee the learning management system (LMS); conduct reviews of training content, perform updates, prepare reports and provide assistance to managers as needed.
