My primary career objective is to promote healthy, resilient, and sustainable living environments. I am most interested in work that (1) enhances human development by reducing health disparities, (2) provides opportunities for equitable growth while minimizing harmful environmental impacts, and (3) addresses pressing humanitarian needs. My background in public health and urban planning has given me a unique perspective on cross-sectoral health promotion and an appreciation for systems-based thinking. I am comfortable working in a wide range of settings and have experience collaborating with community-based organizations, government agencies, bilateral and multilateral donor agencies, and development banks. Most of my international work has been focused in West Africa (Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, and Liberia), with additional short term experience in Asia (Vietnam, Nepal). My language skills include French (fluent), Spanish (proficient), Wolof (proficient), and Bambara (basic).
