I have over 20 years experience teaching jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and creative dance and have won many awards for my choreography both regionally and nationally. I professionally danced for the Golden State Warriors, the San Jose Saber Cats, and the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleaders. For me, dance is more than just movement. The essence of dance is joy. The joy of creating connections and expressing emotions. My goal is to let everyone feel accepted and comfortable enough to fuel the passion to express themselves freely. I feel honored to be able to share the things I have learned and continue to learn in order to help my students grow not only in dance but the confidence they can take with them throughout life.I am also a talented cosmetologist who is in high demand from the dancers during prom season and while I have been working as a professional makeup artist and stylist, my love for teaching took over, which has been my main focus for the last 20 years. I feel very fortunate to have the students that I do, they inspire me and are the reason why I continue to teach.
