Working to change the world one day at a time.I have worked in broadcast news settings in New York, Pennsylvania, Kansas, MIssouri, Florida, and most recently, South Carolina. I have experience in roles both in front of, and behind the camera as an anchor, reporter and producer. I have found I am equally as passionate about teaching journalism. I worked as a Communication Instructor for three years teaching a variety of courses ranging from introductory audio/visual classes to graduate-level courses in television production. My goals as a teacher are to (1) effectively use assessment, technology and hands-on tools (2) to engage students in the learning process (3) so that they may apply the material and discover more on their own. My research agenda is rooted in my graduate work: social media and its effect on interpersonal communication. I also work as a licensed Realtor® serving the Grand Strand, I believe in building healthy agency relationships with my clients so I know how to best help you during this exciting time. My goal is to make your home-buying or selling experience a smooth and enjoyable one.Additionally, I am a licensed group fitness instructor with certifications in: Les Mills BODYJAM™, BODYSTEP™, BODYPUMP®, and BODYFLOW®as well as Sports Conditioning, Kickboxing, Zumba, Pilates and Personal Training.PROFESSIONAL:- Practiced in Paragon, REIS, and basic website design- Experience with Adobe Premiere, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Audicity, and other nonlinear editing software- Proficient in Final Cut Pro, linear editing, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point- Skilled in social network sites specifically Facebook, Twitter and InstagramPERSONAL:- Determined, dependable and demonstrate excellent time management skills- Strong leadership qualities and ability to solve problems and make decisions- Spanish familiarity
